AWARDS PROCESS
Nomination
Any individual, founder or authorized person can nominate their edtech startup/company under any of the categories provided. An individual or organization can nominate in no more than two categories.
If you are keen to nominate for the EdTechReview Awards 2020, you need to purchase “BUSINESS – FULL ACCESS PASS” ticket type to confirm your presence and request award nomination form.
Please note, there is a 2 week’s deadline to fill and send back the award application form from the date of receiving.

Pre-Selection
A robust framework for pre-screening/evaluation parameters for organizations will be used for initial shortlisting.
A team of experts will evaluate and shortlist the nominees by scoring the organization on a defined set of parameters for each category.
Potential finalists from each category might be required for a call/for a final presentation in front of the jury.
Final Selection
List of shortlisted entries will be evaluated by the jury consisting of eminent industry stalwarts, CEOs, angel investors, venture capitalists etc. having a wide and rich experience of the edtech ecosystem.
Jury will determine the winner in each category based on the details entered in the entry form, additional supporting documents, presentation/call and other criteria as deemed necessary by the jury.
An invite will be sent to the finalists under strict non-disclosure 2 weeks prior to the event.
The winners in each category will be announced and awarded at the EdTechReview Award Ceremony & Gala Night on the evening of Friday, 6th Mar 2020.

EdTech CEO of the Year
This will be awarded to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional thought leadership and performance as well as increased adoption of its product in the edtech community of learners, educators and institutions in the past year.
Digital Learning Company of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance in unleashing the potential of Digital Learning.
Mobile Learning Company of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance in unleashing the potential of Mobile Learning.
STEM Education Solution of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance in unleashing the potential of STEM/Robotics Education.
Game Based Learning Company of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance in unleashing the potential of Games in Learning.
Emerging EdTech Startups of the Year
This will be awarded to startups which have emerged as the next big thing in education with a potential to make learning fun and engaging.
School App of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully built an app, has demonstrated growth and unleashed the potential of apps for the school and its stakeholders.
Math Learning Solution of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully grown into a must-have math learning and teaching solution for students, educators and/or schools.
Learning App of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully grown into a must-have learning app for students through its innovative content, support and associated services.
Forward-thinking Curriculum Provider of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance by serving the education community through its curriculum innovation, numerous publications, educational content and services.
Student Engagement Solution of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance in improving student engagement.
Enrollment Management Solution of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully grown into a must-have customer relationship management, enrolment, admission management solution for institutions.
Best B2B EdTech Company of the year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated B2B sales in education with scale and innovative business model.
Best B2C EdTech Company of the year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated B2C sales in education with scale and innovative business model.
Best E-Learning Company of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance in unleashing the potential of e-learning and online education.
Best Online Tutoring Company of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance in unleashing the potential of online tutoring.
Best Exam Prep Company of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated innovative ways and exceptional performance in preparing students for various exams.
Best Education ERP of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance by best understanding the education processes and delivering the best ERP solution.
Best Learning Assessment Company of the Year
This will be awarded to the company improving learning assessment at a K12 or higher education level.
Skill Development Company of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance through growth in the skill development space and helped students become employable.
Best Career Guidance Company of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance in guiding, counseling and helping students understand their potential and associated higher studies and career options.
Best FinTech Company in Education
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance through its Fin Tech solution for educational organizations and institutions.
Language Learning Company of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance in helping learners learn language in fun and engaging ways.
IT Solution Provider of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance in unleashing the potential of IT Solutions in education. Networking & WiFi, AV Solutions, Smartboards, App & Web Development companies (to name a few) may apply.
Best EdTech Solution for Higher Ed
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance in improving the delivery, reputation, curriculum, content, processes in Higher Education institutions.
Best EdTech Solution for K12
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance in improving the delivery, reputation, curriculum, content, processes in K-12 institutions.
Best EdTech Solution for Early Childhood
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated exceptional performance in improving preschools and early childhood education.
Best AI in Education Company of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated effective use of artificial intelligence in their education product to better serve learners.
Best AR/VR Solution of the Year
This will be awarded to the company which has successfully demonstrated the use of augmented reality and virtual reality for better delivery of education.
Best Coaching Institute of the Year
This will be awarded to the coaching institute which has successfully demonstrated innovative coaching models and delivered top ranking of its students in competitive exam prep.
Rewards
Winners will be presented with an Award trophy for their achievements and contribution to the edtech ecosystem during the Gala Award Night. They will also be eligible for a bouquet of benefits mentioned below.

- Winners get the opportunity for Media Exposure/Interview, Discounted access to EdTechReview yearlong events.
- Interviews of winners will also be published on EdTechReview’s YouTube channel.
ETR will publish details of the category winners, including profiles of their companies/technologies using information taken from the entry form.
We will not reveal the names of those companies/individuals that were not shortlisted.
